Long story I'm trying to make short: After having reset my phone (still on firmware of june) I tested again and realised that nothing changed. So I first updated to firmware 20170703 with my encrypted device. Fingerprint still didn't work. So I reset again, added fingerprints again and encrypted device again. Same failure as before. Then I updated to firmware 20170718 and again, the fingerprint at first didn't work. After a reset the device was still encrypted but I could add my fingerprints again. Before doing that the device was encrypted but not protected in any way. At least it's what the device told me. Sadly, the fingerprint reader doesn't recognize the finger very good. And currently I'm unable to unlock the device with fingerprint at all.

So current state is: latest firmware, encrypted device, partly working fingerprint.

I reset the phone again (I just quit counting how often i reset it yet)n and the fingerprint sensor works better now, but strangely it recognises the most front part of the fingertips only when unlocking the device. In settings, when adding an finger, it detects all parts of the fingertip.

Yes, after the device is encrypted, fingerprint not work.

I have the last Version and sometimes the fingerprint dissappear. Sometimes it restart new and it is no fingerprint. If I restart myself, it appears again. Hopefully the new update will make it.

Bluetooth i have no problems, the only three things who distract are the new start and the fingerprint disappear. The battery keeps in my way only "one" day!!! Mostly mobile data and Bluetooth.

My Fingerprint sensor become hot and I cant find fingerprint setting like first time. Should I repair it or refund? Please help. Its draining battery faster.

I don't know if you (or others) found this out yet, but I got my BV8000 Pro just yesterday and discovered one weird thing about what you commented.

My phone came with an August ROM, but before flashing the November version, I decided to test everything. The fingerprint scanner worked like a charm, very very fast.

After flashing the November ROM, the fingerprint scanner looked to have gotten worse, and it seemed like it was only able to detect the tip of my fingers while registering them.

I finally found that, on the August version, I was keeping the fingers parallel to the body of the phone while registering the fingerprints, and it worked, but that doesn't seem to work on the latest version. On this one, the fingerprints are also instantly detected, but only if I lay them on the sensor with the fingers put perpendicularly to the body of the phone and the sensor itself. I've tried several times and it works. Then, when unlocking, you can put the finger in any position you want, since it's a 360º fingerprint reader.

Sorry if I'm replying to something you had already figured out, but I just noticed this and thought you and others would like to know.
