same problem too : it has charged one time but now that doesnt work anymore.
even wijt original cable and charger
before updating it worked fine with original cable and with replacement cable branded Blackview and with non original cable and charger
i think ther is the same big problem with the update and it befins to be really unpleasant...

Hello!
I disassembly the BV8000 pro and i charge the battery with the alligator connected to the original BV charger:
I try this http://bbs.blackview.hk/viewtopic.php?f=192&t=334922 but [TUTORIAL] How to boot in Recovery Mode (and perform a factory reset) doesn't work.

I've re-assembled the phone with care, and when i connect the battery cable inside the chassis of the phone, the 3 led light "menu" Home" " BACK" are still always running, the VOL- button doesn't work....And I'stuck iun factory mode.
Any solution Admin?

So is this the only way to fix this phone ?  Charge battery internally, then try to downgrade flash firmware manually ???????????????????????

Christ I hope Blackview releases a FIX soon !!!!!!!  This is ridiculous, 3 months to wait for a fix ???????????????

Discoragno i can't know what you did while opening it, but your issues are very strange.
What about launching a factory reset from the factory mode?

You can always contact your seller to have your device replaced under warranty ;)

That is not a valid response. There is nothing wrong with the phone except Blackview's own software that broke the phone.

HI Admin,
I only open the phone with many care...I see the video filmed to Russian Guy..
Charghe the battery->re- assembly. When put the battery cable on the mainboard the 3 led light turn on.
Pack the phone (reassembly) and power button. The rest is factory mode and the 3 led lights on..that's all. Is really strange...I'm waiting the charghe board...when arrived i try to change it....but this update is a very bad things...I've contacted the seller on amazon... but non response...

if you don't completely drain your battery in the mean time, you can perform a firmware downgrade and get back to a perfectly working device. Or you can wait for the next OTA update, wich has no ETA at the moment.
But if your battery is completely drained, you can't do anything else except charging your battery as discoragno did (and then perform a firmware downgrade) or contacting your seller to have your device replaced under warranty.
Is this response vaild enought? ;)

A new charging board may help, but i can't tell it for now. Seller on Amazon will answer, don't worry. Otherwise, contact Amazon and they will sort out this issue for you.

Can you do this from within the phone or it has to be done manually following the tutorial ??
