Re: [TRACKED AND ALMOST SOLVED] Bluetooth issues

Wed Mar 14, 2018 2:03 pm

Good afternoon. My current firmware, which I installed "BV8000Pro-Blackview-V0.1_2017083_20180105-1104". For three months of different reinstallations and following your instructions I report: using Bluetooth of my car to play music, a call, interruptions occurred every 3-5 minutes, after 20-30 seconds the connection was restored periodically and again disappeared. I noticed that the car completely lost the "BV8000Pro-Blackview" and wrote that I do not have a number of "Bluetooth" devices.

Firmware 20180105 is old and carried a bug on the Background task clear setting wich makes the fix posted in this thread not working as expected.
Please update (flash) your device to the latest firmware (20180308), perform a factory reset, apply the fix posted in this thread and report back ;)

As Nevill suggests, Google's high accuracy location setting may cause BT dropouts because it diverts the bluetooth to scan passing cars and tap into their locations, which is why your car BT connection can drop and then reconnect a second later when driving. This is an Android 7 and 8 bug. Only known fix is to go to Settings/Location, tap on three vertical dots at top right, tap on Scanning and turn off wifi and bluetooth scanning.

Hi, well i am suffering from this for a year now.
i did everything
updated to android 8, factory reset, the battery settings and everything in the thread that was instructed to do.
about the  bluetooth location fix:
seems it did fixed the Bluetooth crash every few minutes (need to test it more)
but the stutter problem still accrue all the time. if i hear music its sound like the CD jumps. no sound for split of a seccond.
without bluetooth (with phone speaker or headphone) it works fine without stutter.
i have replace 3 bluetooth devices all the same.
battery setting did applied also to all apps which use to play music through bluetooth.

what else can i do?

If you carefully followed every hint that has been posted here and your BT connections is still erratic, unfortunately there's nothing more to do. You BT module may be faulty, last chance would be contacting your seller to have the phone replaced under warranty.
