In order to do it, you'll need to go to https://www.google.com/android/find and log in to your connected google account. When it finds your phone, choose the lock option and it should prompt you to put in a new password.

This is meant to override the current password when set (after some delay ~5mins)

Thanks for your precious feedback!
This solution may work, so... let's hope that! ;)

Thanks a lot for the suggestion! Will try that!

Hi!

During this morning, my phone changed the pin code by itself. I tried to make the block through "Find my Device" but i didn't any option to introduce a new password.

Can anyone help me? Did anyone know how can i proceed?

Hello,

my phone apparently also changed it's PIN during the last days. Today it rebooted and i can no longer unlock it.

When I boot the phone, the PIN is accepted the first time I enter it, but when the phone asks for it a second time (after starting Android), it tells me, that the PIN is incorrect.

The "Find my device" page does NOT offer the possibility to set a new PIN, but only to lock the device.

Thanks for any help!

yeah, i can confirm that something in google "Find my Device" webpage changed.
It doesn't allow you to set a new password anymore.

What about trying the app? Maybe the app allows you to remotely change pin/password.
You'll have to use this app in another phone, to manage your BV8000pro.

Technical problems with Blackview BV8000 Pro

Fri May 11, 2018 6:45 pm

Hello,
Six months ago I have purchased the Blackview BV8000 Pro. Until today, it worked well, but due to unknown sogtware error, the phone do not accept graphic key and did not take fingerprints. I did not change anything in the settings and I remember the old graphic key pattern. The number of attempts to enter a password due to an error is not limited, so I can not reset the password. All this has led to the fact that I can not use my phone. Also I do not want to lose important information from this device. Please tell me how to reset the graphic key pattern.
Thank you in advance.

And yes! Technical support does not work!
