Well 2 nights ago I noticed my phone wasnt charging. I set it by my bed and charge overnight as having 2 SIM cards in during the day really kills the battery.

Tonight I decided to open it up to check the camera connection and the charging board connections. Took everything out including the motherboard. Pretty easy. I did not find a BV seal or sticker on the motherboard screw ??

Any way, reconnected everything back up and nothing.

Phone works, but no front camera and NO charging.

Where can I find a charging board to purchase ??

P.S. the phone does not charge when the phone is turned off either.
P.P.S. the phone still does not charge even after doing a Factory Reset.

Thanx. Marc

At the risk of teaching you to suck eggs (and speaking as one who once forgot to reinstall part of the gearbox during a car engine repair), did you double check that the charging board was properly reconnected?
New charging board here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-blackview-bv8000-PRO-USB-Plug-Charge-Board-connector-USB-Charger-Plug-Board-Module-Repair/32825704291.html

LOL.....ya triple checked those. I have been a field tech for HP, Lexmark and Canon laser printers and plotters for the better of 20 years. I also owned a computer shop for 15 years where we did everything from network installs, server installs/migration. We sold at retail custom built pc's, HP, Compaq, Acer, Toshiba towers and laptops and many more....We also did warranty work for most of those brands.

So ya double checking and triple checking connections has become part of my body. There's nothing like driving for 2 days straight in -30 winter weather to do a 72" plotter repair at a fly-in mine site and coming back and finding out either me or one of my technicians forgot to connect a cable lol 8-)

I ordered the board on Ebay. They had a shorter delivery time than aliexpress. 2-4 weeks rather than 4-8 weeks.

Thanx Neville.
