Bug is also in the latest rom 1227.

I have the same problem after OTA update 20180105.

Just found something out. If you start the camera and activate flash (to automatic mode), then press the power button (short) and let the phone go to sleep mode: The flashlight works again from the lock screen (also via long pressing the home button) and the symbol in the short cut menu is the right one. If you close the camera app or put it to the background, the error returns and flashlight won't work.
So it might have something to do with the camera app.

Tech team suggests to FLASH the 20171227 firmware (now available for download) and report back if the issue gets solved.
Please do it the OTA update may have created problems.

I have the same problem. I reflashed 20171227 (I originally got it via OTA) but it did not change anything.

The issue is present on the 20171227 version too. That's the one I have, and I flashed it via flash tool
