Thanks for the input saves me a factory reset, I have a feeling we are in for a long wait before this is and other problems are fix blackview don't like to look after there customers.
I've had 3 phones from them now you would think I've learnt my lesson by now

before I could read this thread, I started in factory mode, I selected Item test and then, in fingerprint option I get:
Senor ID: 0x0
FAIL
I have also encripted my mobile but I'm not sure whether a hardware or software issue.
Can you tell me something about it, please?

Try the new update as of lastnight July 20th they have an OTA so do it from the phone, this has corrected a number of issues.

I had same problem, and the latest wireless update fixed the fingerprint problem. After the update finished, you go delete all fingerprint installed on your mobile and reboot the mobile. Use the mobile for a while without fingerprint, then reboot again (shut down). After you turn it on go and use application like open YouTube for one song, then go to settings and configure fingerprint again and follow the instructions. Everything should be fine.

I have no problem in fingerprint right now, but I tried to add new fingerprint and a message popped up: "Enrolment was not completed. Fingerprint Enrolment didn't work. Try again or use a different finger". I tried again and I tried to use different finger, but I couldn't succeed. Your help please , thanks

My phone now says it's encrpted when it's not, it does not ask for a pin on start to decrypt it and yes pin is active.
Looks like another factory reset

After factory reset phone is now encrpted and fingerprint works as well, thank you blackview that's one problem fixed.
