I have been having the same problem on my BV 8000 pro for a little over a week now. I am not very tech savy. so any help would be great. I cant charge my phone except when the phone is shut off. This started happening just after I updated my phone. I am unsure of which version I had versus which one I have now. But if someone can show me how to un-do it that would be wonderful.

Here you can find previous ROM files.

Here a tutorial to perform a flash/downgrade.

What happens if I just do  reset? I have only had the phone for about a week before this happened> Will it go back to before I did my update?

A reset is not enough. You'll have to perform a downgrade by flashing, as i said in my previous post.

Dear admin,

My bv8000pro isnt charging the fault is that it gives a wrong temperature. If i check it with an charging app.
The results are changing from 0 to -20 degre. I know for battery safety the phone is not charging below 0 degree.

what do i have to change or replace that it works good? i think this is the problem for many users with this charging problem.
If i put the phone on the heated bed of my 3d printer that is 60 degree. the temp go's up and then the phone charge. But it wont give a stable value

please give a good answer what to replace or where the charging temp meter is on the board. Is it on the charging board or on the motherboard, Or is it that part under the accu.
What gives resistance for the values to the charging controller?

If you can fiks this with a good answer i think many of us have the sollution for the problem.

Did your phone stopped charging just after a firmware update?

My problem is exactly the same as everybody on this post.

Since the update, my phone has charging problems.
> When the phone is on, and plugged, it doesn't mention any charge
> When the phone is off, and plugged, it mentions the charge, but the battery gauge doesn't increase. After 24h, it remained to 0% battery.
I tried with another C-usb cable, another electricity plug, another adapter, or even charging it from my laptop, problem still persists.

How do I perform firmware downgrade if my phone's battery is completely empty?
I'm not an electrician, neither an engineer, and I'm not comfortable with opening the phone by myself - if needed.

Thanks for your help.

If your battery is empty, the only way you can walk is to open the phone, charge the battery with an external power supply, put the battery inside your phone again and flash your device to a previous firmware version. The alternative route is to contact your seller to have your phone replaced under warranty.

Is there somewhere a tutorial to explain how to open the phone, and to charge the battery? Where can I find an external power supply? Anyway, I'm not comfortable at all in doing all this, but it looks like the only way not to lose all data on my phone. Seems unreal. How come is that possible -_-

A nice move, as an alternative to contact your seller to have your device replaced (thing that I recommend), would be taking your phone to a local 3rd party phone repair shop. He would not ask you too much for such service ;)
