[SOLVED] Loop restart

Thu Aug 23, 2018 4:43 am

Hi, I have recently bought a BV8000 pro and I have found the following problems:

1) The first time I used the phone in the water (in swimingpool), the headphone icon appears even if they are not connected. I solved by blowing with the compressed air in the input hole of the headphones, but the problem reappears if you connect the headset to the phone.

2) The second time I plunged the phone into the water was two days ago (I'm on holiday in Greece), when I came out of the water the phone worked normally for about half an hour, then suddenly it went off and began to go off and on continuously, making its use impossible.

Now the phone turns on and off continuously, only the blacview logo appears and then goes off.

I tried to make the deep reset, but as soon as the screen to select the various options appears, the phone goes off and starts looping again.

It's my first BlackView phone and I'm really saddened by what's happening to me. I'm on vacation and I can not use my phone to call, or to take pictures and videos.

Hi there!
Unfortunately It seems that your unit is lacking some critical o-rings, as showed here:

You'll be have to contact your seller to have your device repaired or replaced under warranty.

I read the post you linked me and many others to get a better idea of what happened.

I would exclude that the problem is due to the power button because I can do the reset procedure (I can not finish it because then the phone is turned off, so I would rule out that it is a software problem, because even when it is in recovery mode the same problem occurs when it switches off).

I think the problem comes from the charging socket, because when I put the phone on charge (of course it continues to turn on and off continuously) when I remove it, it stays on for a few minutes and then goes off, (as if he did not take charge).

Now the problem is to understand whether to try to disassemble it and try to clean any salt residues from the charging outlet or worse still having to change it myself (if I open the device myself, I lose the warranty?) or send everything under warranty (I bought the phone on the blackview store on Amazon so the warranty should be the official one).

What would you recommend to me? I read that BlackView support is not very fast, I'm afraid I'll be without a phone for months ...

I suggest to stick to the Amazon customer care! ;)
