When will the kernel source and device tree be available? As GPL states that a modified android base has to be shared as the kernel and android as a whole are open source. 
Releasing this would benefit the company so much, we're talking about customer loyalty, allowing the customer to actually have an up to date device, not having to wait for blackviews 3rd party dev team to finally release an update after just under a year, bugs will be minimal. allow your customers to keep their phones alive instead of promises that hardly get kept and release 7 new phones in the space of a year.

when you will finally understand that most Chinese brands / companies do not have their own developers.
over firmware runs a separate independent company that makes firmware to many Chinese phones.
to lay out in free access the source codes to a particular gland is like losing a job.
The company does not have source codes for its devices and will never receive them

When will you read a post properly, I clearly said "3rd party developers" thus meaning non-internal devs. Actually they can request the source from the 3rd party and the 3rd party may charge for the release of the source but by not offering the source they are breaking GPL.
