[SOLVED] Can't establish 3G connection after continuous non active period

Usually I connect to internet via Wi-Fi, but when I go to the country on weekend I use 3G.
Usually when I try to establish 3G connection I can't do it:
3G connection switches to turned on but actually there is no connection (no small 3G sign above network level and no internet in browser). Sometimes it happens even in a day of non active period or even less.

As workaround for resolving this problem I enable and disable flight mode: after that in most of cases I can establish 3G connection successfully with internet connection.

P.S: I'm from Ukraine. Noticed same behavior on 2 used carriers.

Hi there!

Unfortunately i can't reproduce such issue on my device... and never heard about that before.

1) What's your firmware version? did you perform a factory reset after updating your device to any newest firmware?

2) How much signal strenght do you get from your carrier when you go to country?

Hi, blackview_admin!

1) I have last firmware 20180308.

I'd noticed that problem since I started using the phone at the end of September 2017.

I did the factory reset after last firmware flashing.

2) Signal strength is good (full or 75% of signal usually).

Can I help you in some way with finding the reason of this issue? Maybe I can collect some logs or something like that?

P.S: it's really annoying issue due to which I waste 2-3 minutes to establish internet connection after some pause for battery saving, wifi using or other reason.

Are you using a double SIM configuration?

Yes. I have double SIM in my phone from different carriers.

Their both are active, but for internet, usually, I use only first SIM. For last 2 days (when I see your message and tried to reproduce the problem) internet connection via 3G works properly. Last time when I noticed a problem with it was the beginning of April. Then I use mostly Wi-Fi.

Possibly I faced this problem when I decided to post this topic.

I'll be in the country 12-13 May and can check how it works with EDGE.

Maybe some problem is in moving to other cell or something else cause these days I worked from home and don't move further than 1 km from my apartment.

ATM I can't reproduce this issue, even when I go to my parents to the country. Maybe carrier changed something in their network or something else happened. So last time I noticed it was the beginning of April 2018.

P.S:
I noticed another not so good bug: sometimes my phone received messages of missed calls due to being offline. Last time I noticed it 7 hours ago. Before that moment I remember the similar problem before flashing to 20180308 firmware (I rare receive input phone calls). Should I post a separate ticket for it? Can I help you somehow with collecting debug data or something else?

There must be an issue with your carrier... as i was thinking from the beginning  :roll:

Actually it's not totally depends on the carrier. On my old phone, Lenovo S820, I never noticed this issue.

There were a lot of other issues due to broken flash memory, but I have no problem with establishing an internet connection and no missed phone calls due to offline.

Is there any way of investigating the real problem of these issues?

If you can't reproduce the issue of the opening post, how can we help you properly?
Unfortunately no other user (or me) have a similar issue on the BV8000 Pro.
The only thing i would do is to continue gathering additional details, hoping also that other users may help us with their feedback.
