I just flashed your new update, and my phone stopped charging. Even its not recognised by the pc ,no connection at all. When I turn the phone off and then connect to the pc, it connects. Pathetic huh??

Going back to 20171227 firmware. Its so pathetic .All my data and other apps lost for nothing. I am in UAE and here one GB internet is for 50 USD. Lolx..thumbs up

Did you perform a factory reset after the 20180308 update?

Did the charging issue disappear after flashing back to the 20171227 firmware?

My BV8000 Pro stopped charging yesterday too. It was immediately after a software update. Nothing I do can get it to charge again. Can you please make a suggestion. It worked perfect before the software update.

Hello I've the same problem. NOT CHARGE!

Yesterday night 05/04/2018 I've performed the upgrade.

Before update i plugged the phone to the original blackview charger and good night.

Today I've only 8% of battery, the phone is not in charge mode, i plugged the charger in any way (turn off/ON)...no charge..
How i can do? I've bought a phone from amazon.

Is possible to have any info to go back to the old firmware, please posta the instruction or the link.

I have the same problem periodically.
Since I got my bv8000pro in early september 2017 the problem of the battery that doesn't charge it showed up several times but solved himself after a while, i dont know how.
But now the problem is bigger: is about a few days that i starded using an older phone because the bv8000 pro is charging only when he wants to do.

When the problem is showed up again a few days ago I have upgraded the last OTA firmware in hope to solving but instead i got worse. The phone is chargin sometimes only when is power off and only when is attached to the power cable for hours.
Is really unusable right now: you can't charge it until the battery goes all the way down, and when its powered off i will take all day long to start charging again, randomly.

I have tried every cable configuration in my possibilities:

- original Blackview charger + original Blackview cable n°1
- original Blackview charger + original Blackview cable n°2
- original Blackview charger + usb cable + type-c original Blackview adapter

- pc usb port + original Blackview cable n°1
- pc usb port + original Blackview cable n°2
- pc usb port + usb cable + type-c original Blackview adapter

- Mac usb port + original Blackview cable n°1
- Mac usb port + original Blackview cable n°2
- Mac usb port + usb cable + type-c original Blackview adapter

- Apple iPhone charger + original Blackview cable n°1
- Apple iPhone charger + original Blackview cable n°2
- Apple iPhone charger + usb cable + type-c original Blackview adapter

- Apple iPad charger + original Blackview cable n°1

I have also tried several times to reboot in recovery mode, wipe cache partition and performing a factory reset after the OTA firmware update.
Also tried all the hardware test and the reboot to bootloader on the factory mode menu.
At last i have downgraded back to the 20171227 firmware flashing the phone back following the official tutorial.

But now after all THE PROBLEM STILL PERSIST.

So blackview please help me, i dont have any other weapon to try. I only can ask Gearbest.com, where i have bought the phone and ask for warranty and money back.

If DOWNGRADE is possible i think it's possible only if I've the BATTERY at 100% is right?
How I can charge battery? There are alternative method?

I'm thinking to disassemble the phone, remove the battery and charge it....this olution is possible.

Please, post the info to keep alive the BV8000pro, the phone is very strong, but the software non walk in the same line.

This update is very bad for the reputation of the BLACKVIEW!!

I've a BV 8000 Pro from 8/8/2017, after the last update 06/06/2018 my firmaware is BV8000Pro-Blackview-V0.1_20170803_20180307-1950.

I've a very BIG problem, the battery doesn't charge! I've only 3% of battery and i turn off the phone to have a chance to find/read a solution in this topic.

I've the original Blackview withe charger & cable that work fine, i've tested, when the phone is OFF and plugged to the usb-c cable carger the red led is on but the power of the battery doesn't increase.

I've read some info in this topic but i don't find any REAL SOLUTION.
I' m tinking to disassebly the phone, extract the battery pack and charge it with some like this attached to the original charger


And monitoring the charge with this



To go beyond I've bought also a Original USB Board Plug Charge Board Replacement For Blackview BV8000 BV8000 Pro, just in case the charging board is damaget after the disassembly & reassembly...

My step to resuscitate the phone are:
1 Receive some information from the Balckview team/admin ( very good solution)
2 If no response from admin or any other guy, I open the phone extract the battery, charge it, reassebly, turn ON, Backup all data.....and after? Any idea?
3 If I did not get any new ideas, I'll buy another RUGGED phone from someone else.

I'm sorry but your problem isn't the same we are talking about in this thread.
Here we are talking about a charging issue wich happened right after a software update.
Please stop going off-topic, but feel free to open another thread about your specific problem (wich is definitely hardware related from what i can see).
