Re: [TRACKED AND INVESTIGATING, ALMOST SOLVED] Phone reboots (crashes) at night, startup sound will wake up everybody

Great!
I'm waiting for some additional user feedbacks, just to be sure, and i'll mark the reboot issue as solved ;)

Nothing has been solved here.
Replaced charger board v1.1 1733 with new board v1.1 1737 and the device still reboots. Device has the latest firmware.
Device just rebooted while being fully charged, wifi on and using Flickr app. I think the wifi has to do with the reboot issue too.

And the worst thing is that the sound doesn't work anymore. :x

Opened the device again but unfortunately the connector of the flatcable from the screen came loose accidentally and the connector became bended. Bended the connector back and it fits again. Screen worked and after a forced restart the screen was reacting when touched.

At the moment I'm thinking of returning the device for a refund. Because Blackview told me to replace the charger board myself without any given instructions about how to do so, refunding shouldn't be a problem.

As already stated before, tech team found that a faulty charging board is part of the issue, not the whole.
No other details were given about the reason behind it, wich revision number is affected and so on. They are still studying the issue.

NOBODY officially advised you to buy another charing board to replace the original one, considering also that no infos about the relation between revision number and reboot issue have been given. If you wanted to try it, take your risk and don't complain if your tests led to nothing.
I always stated that if you don't want to wait for a fix, you should contact your seller for a replacement under warranty. It is always the easyest and safest way.

Did you FLASH (not OTA!) the 20180124 update and after that did you perform a factory reset? It's an important detail!

As I mentioned before, yes I did flash my device (not by OTA) and gave it a factory reset.

Got it. No other solution for you, at the moment, except from getting your device replaced by your seller or waiting for the next firmware ;)

Ps. 9 December was only the beginning of the discussion

Remember, the reboots may be an Android 7 issue, not a Blackview issue: https://www.google.com/search?safe=off&client=firefox-b&ei=A2-UWqH_OYqj8AWcz4PYDQ&q=android+nougat+random+reboot

Yes, it's also a possibility!

My device is working again, but even with a new charging board it keeps rebooting.
The device is fully charged (100%), the wifi turned on and it reboots multiple times (more than 5 times in a row).
So the charger board and firmware update 24012018 are not fixing the rebooting issue of the BV8000 in my case.
I still think the wifi has to do with the rebooting in my case, because when I turn the wifi of it stops rebooting.

It would be worthwhile testing whether it is the wifi router causing the phone to play up...try using a different wifi router as a test. If you can definitely isolate the reboot to only occuring when wifi is on that's a good lead.

At the moment I have only one router at home. It's an old D-Link DIR-655 (link) with the following setup:
