Then, you'll never get any 100% bug-free device, and I'm not talking just about smartphones...

Amen to that.

Last week I installed update 20180124.

On Saturday evening the phone rebooted after turning DuraSpeed on. After that I turned DuraSpeed off again.
On Sunday evening the phone rebooted again after which I did a factory reset. This caused a lot off reboots during the factory reset and reinstalling the apps. After a couple off hours working the phone was working and stable again.
On Wednesday evening I experienced the first reboot since the factory reset.
This Thursday evening the phone rebooted again after switching the wifi on. It did not reboot once but at least five times in row. After the fifth or sixth reboot I quickly turned off the wifi. The phone did not reboot anymore. After a few minutes I switched the phone off.Wait a few minutes again and switched the phone back on. During one of the reboots the screen was off and the phone did not respond to pressing any of the buttons. After a while it was starting again. Battery was at appr. 90% during these reboots.

Beside DuraSpeed I've also disabled the app BeautySnap. Both apps are turned off in "Network access control" too.

So far update 20180124 is not solving the reboot issue for me. Maybe this update needs some more fine tuning.

Is it possible to have the apps DuraSpeed and BeautySnap be removed with a next update?
Users can install DuraSpeed from the Play store if they want it and BeautySnap seems to be malware. If these two apps have been removed we can really exclude those two from the reboot issue.

I've also experienced the phone rebooting with apps like Flickr and Twitter. The screen is frozen for 10-20 seconds after which the phone reboots.

1) What was your previous firmware?
2) How many reboots did you have with it? It was worse or better than the 20180124 update?
3) Did you update your device to 20180124 by flashing or OTA?

Well I was sceptical too but flashing took 1h + 1h doing the app reinstall. 2h of my life to have stable device without sending it to the manufacturer seems all right to me.

13 days without reboots

update 20180124

I have this phone since October, at the beginning there were no reboots. After updating probably from December (I think it was - BV8000Pro_blackview_20171219), I had reboots several times. But now no longer ... What I wish you all :-))

1) The previous firmware was 20180105.
2) I lost counting yesterday evening, but the phone rebooted between 5 and 10 times. Looks like it is getting worser after updating to 20180124. Had a couple of reboots this evening again. The wifi was on. One time after entering the first digit of the pincode it stopped responding and rebooted after 10-20 seconds.
3) My device was updated to 20180124 by OTA. Also the previous updates were done by OTA.

Is there an app that can log the reboots (counting) and logs what apps + background tasks are running, the charge status of the battery, wifi on/off, etc?

How did you update the firmware, by flashing or OTA (wireless)?
Did you do a factory reset?

i suggest to flash your device to the 20180124 version, as OTA updates may not work properly sometimes.

It may be that my reboots have something to do with the mobile network. Last week I worked somewhere where I had zero network, just "No service" all the time. The phone rebooted 2 times that day. The other day the phone rebooted... same. A location with "No service" all the time.
