Apart from flashing, does your phone get recognized when plugged into your PC?
If not, it confirms what paychi already stated: the battery charge issue also compromised the USB communication, making you unable to flash.
As i said before, an OTA update or a working local update will come to solve this issue.

2 . YES! phone IS recognised when connected BUT NOT when Connection for actual donload of new firmware. Read my post. "Everything according to "flashing-8000pro_v3.pdf" OK except actual flashing step 8."
EDIT: WTF today my phone is NOT recognised by Win. I am dead sure it was yesterday. Acutally yesterday was first time ever (to try to flash) and USB drivers for my phone were searched for by Windows. This PC and same USB connector on PC and Blackview Cable has just been verified with my other BV8000 Phone and is working perfectly.
3. and further info. My phone actually charged ONCE when in Power off mode. But not anymore.

Mistakes can happen, we are human after all. I'm really sorry for that, guys.

OK My bad...sorry for that! Drivers were unfortunately not correct installed in my win7 PC. Now they are and i could flash the phone with ROM 20171227_s21v57c2k_jk_tee. Everything like a charm following the tutorial. EDIT: also performed a factory reset afterwards.

BUT afterwards there is still no charging and the phone is not recognised by PC when Power on and connected to PC.
Wireless update Shows current Version BV800Pro-Blackview-V0.1_20170803_20171227-1550.
It is recognised as a Mediatek Preloader device when connected in Power off mode.

I expected this flash to take care of the battery charging issue.

Any thoughts??

I was able to report bug, but I can not see it because it is a zipped folder that can not be opened from a mobile phone. And I'm without a computer at home.
How can I send it privately to the administrator?
Or is this bug report useless?

I was able to visualize it through an application, but, as expected, these are codes that may be useful to an engineer.

Yeah, definitely strange.
Can you try to flash your device to the 20171114 version + factory reset and report back?
