Re: [TRACKED] Critical error - headphone software fault

Hi there,
As of today, I have the exact same problem. Never used headphones before and suddenly the phone went to headphones mode. Tried reset, nothing.

Geoc, can you update your device to the latest firmware and perform a factory reset after that?
Did water enter into the headphones port?

Hi again, thanks for the reply. I updated with the BV8000Pro_blackview_20171219 and the headphones problem resolved.
I hoped that it would solve the battery drain and the rebooting problem but it doesn't seems so (30% battery down overnight with deactivated sim signal, still seems a lot).
Another strange thing is that, even after installing the firmware successfully, the build number in settings->about didn't change:

Good to know that your problem has been solved.
Build number will not change, this is normal.

Please, let's keep the thread on topic.
The 20171219 update solved the battery drain problem for every user. If you have issues about that, please perform a factory reset (mandatory after each firmware update!!!!!) and refer to the specific thread.

For the opening post: tech team studied this issue, wich unfortunately is not reproducible. We cannot help further.
You'll have to contact your seller for a replacement under warranty.
