it is my second Blackview phone : first BV600pro reboots sevreral times during call since an OTA update 60 moths ago and now my BV8000pro has this charge problem after another OTA update
problem on BV6000 is not solved today and it seems to me that Blackview wont solve this new problem too
is Blackview a serious company ?

Every mobile have problems, your problem can be related to firmware, or something else, maybe the charger, or the cable, or a fault battery, I could not know.

Flashing the phone is quite easy even for a newbie, don't worry!

When I bought my blackview I followed this tutorial to flash it:

Go to the section restore a stock rom, don't follow the root and twrp parts, which are for rooting and flash a custom recovery.
It's quite straightforward: install the drivers, install the flash program, download the rom from this forum (see the rom section, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE ROM FROM THE TUTORIAL, AS IT IS OLD) and you are ready to go.
If you follow this tutorial I recommend to set the sp flash tool program to set "Download only" instead of "firmware upgrade" as stated in the tutorial.
Firmware upgrade will try to preserve apps, but in your case it is better to have a "clean phone" after the flash.

Problem is that you CAN'T flash any other rom since USB is not working anymore. So PC won't recognize this phone.

problem can be related to several causes, i'm ok
in this particular case, problem is due to the ota upgrade and there is no doubt : i'm not alone to have it and have tried everything it was asked to do...
bv6000pro has reboot problems due tu an OTA update and it is sure too because i'm not alone to have it and 6 months later, problem is not solved...it seems to me thet 6 months is a very long and i can't imagine how would react my customers if i let them with problems a so long time...

now, i like Blackview products and i accept to buy one new each yearso i always have a very good phone, even because phone has a problem, but 6 months later, it is very too short to buy a new phone.

Maybe it is easy to flash the phone but as you told in your previous post, i will have problem if phone is not enough charged.

Yes, for the OTA update you need some more battery, as when the phone reboots it takes "quite a lot time" to install.
12% is enough for a pc flash, it is a matter of a couple of minutes to flash from pc. I would go smooth with 12% battery.

You can have problem if you have 0% battery! Or if you have 3-4% battery to not complete the pc flash.

- Local Update: Save ZIP-File to your phone storage and select it at "Settings>About phone>Wireless Update>...-Menu>Local updates".
