The Processor in this phone gets randomly hot, even when it is doing nothing.

Got this phone new recently, was hot right after i put in all my details, was hot in my pocket, was hot when i put 3 apps on it.

This problem might be why i am having poor battery life, or could be this battery drain i am hearing about.

Among other problems with this new BV8000 Pro, this one can be the most frustrating. Especially when it turns off and on very loudly at 1AM in the morning waking a village.

Side note; i have disabled all sound of any kind that can be turned off in the menus (do not disturb aswell) yet it still plays the theme tune on bootup.

Any ideas to why this is happening?

Any ideas to turn the sound off without taking the phone apart to disconnect the speaker?

Before doing anything else, update your device to the latest firmware and perform a factory reset.

If the hight temperature issue doesn't get solved by that you'll have to contact your seller for a replacement under warranty.
