I sewed several times 1219, never needed a reset, the phone falls asleep perfectly.

Apparently it all depends on what you managed to change in the settings of the phone, specifically played or not with the disconnection of the cores and a change in the frequency of the processor.

In my case no.
I had root and I decided to update to 1219 rom, so I relocked the bootloder, flashed the november official rom, and updated to 1219 via ota, as the full flash was not available yet, but the phone didn't go to sleep.
In my case only the full flash of 1219 and a factory reset (but I don't know if it was really necessary), solved the problem.
Now it is a true "pro".

ps: just for knowledge, root, custom recovery and unlocked bootloader do not influence the battery drain/deep sleep.

Yes it seems that the flashlight lit with the home button on locked screen doesn't work anymore with 20171219.
