Re: [TRACKED AND INVESTIGATING, CULPRIT FOUND] Phone reboots (crashes) at night, startup sound will wake up everybody

Thu Dec 21, 2017 1:51 pm

I'm experiencing the same issues with restarting. It's not a huge problem but it occasionally happens during meeting and seminars which is embarrassing. Other than this i really like the phone and would be willing to send any data I could to help resolve the problem (if i knew how) . If it is a charging board issue it would be great if we knew exactly what part to replace it with and how to go about it as some of the other members have stated

The random restarts with my phone had started to increase in frequency, happening around 5 times a day instead of 2-3 like before.

Anyway I replaced the charging board that I had ordered today, it's v1.1 (the same version as the one removed from the phone).
I'll post an update in a few days to let you guys know if it's solved the problem.

Can anybody confirm that replacing charging board will stop the phone reboots?

Hello. I will be a new user of BV8000 Pro after Christmas in USA. It is a gift from my wife. I have read this entire thread and I am quite concerned. It was stated by the blackview team that the restart problem affects only a small number of phones. My question is Can you define what you mean by "a small number". What is the percentage of the phones affected? Thank you.

I cannot give you numbers at the moment, but as a general rule on hitech, only people wich have issues on a device ask help in the forums ;) People with good devices usually don't write about that ;)

Don't warry about your device, it will work properly ;)
If not, me and the tech team are here to help. Nobody will be left behind!

I'm so pissed off about the "restarts". The problem starts after the 2.nd update i made (in my case - the booting- restarts begun after the Updates) and so I've a problem to belive its a hardware-fail. I'll wish a real solution and not only to put off !

We are still investigating. If you don't want to wait for a "real solution", just have your device replaced and everything will be all right ;)

Special thanks for fast answering. I bought my bv8000pro ( by the way, my 3rd BV) online via AliExpress (shipped from China to Austria) and so its no easy way to return the cellular (toll/custom/freight). :|

Finally, once again a special thanks for your answer.
