Just so you know guys,
My BV8000 pro reboots randomly - with no startup sound.
I don't know why it doesn't - but it doesn't.
It's possibly because I turn the ringer to vibrate only for ringtones, and DND mode overnight... But yeah.
Still - this fault is hideous. I've never had a mobile phone in all of the nearly 20 years i've owned a mobile phone, that regularly reboots itself at seemingly random moments.

A little bit annoying, but not so hard or costly to do it by yourself, if approaching it as an alternative to contact your seller for a whole device replacement under warranty (wich i suggest you, globally, to do).
So the sudden reboot is definitely an hardware fault guys.
Better an hard truth than an easy lie.
Here's a quick question.
I see two different types of charging board being sold...
A v1.0 board:
And a v1.1 board:
So I guess my question is... Which one exhibits the fault and which one doesn't, if Blackview engineers are so sure it's a charging board fault?

Another quasi-solution I'm using until the problem is properly sorted out: Turn the phone off for the night and set up automatic power on like you would an alarm clock - the jingle wakes you up when the phone powers up, you punch in the PIN code and can start your day,

I have a question. I am still waiting for my phone to arrive since 26/10 when I ordered it and I am wondering if I m going to have the same problem all of you have with the random restarts.
Is it a problem only for a specific batch or is it for all the BV8000?

We don't have infos about a correlation between this problem and device batch number, at the moment.

This is a good call, maybe we - affected users, could post our S/Ns? Some extra user generated information never hursts right?

My phone reboot randomly 3 or 4 times for day i think its a hardware problem. i have 2 phones and both do the same.

Here also a BV8000 user (well my husband is) with the same problem.
The Phone reboots randomly at different times.
We have also sometimes problems with charging it (or the battery is drained very quick).

I found some files in my BV8000
/mtklog/aee_exp_backup/db.fatal.o1.HW_Reboot/db.fatal.01.HW_Reboot.dbg
This file was modified after rebooting my phone today.
Maybe this file consists some interesting information.
/mtklog/aee_exp_backup/db.fatal.o1.HW_Reboot/ZZ_INTERNAL.txt - this file is empty
/mtklog/aee_exp_backup/db.fatal.o1.HW_Reboot/db.fatal.01.HW_Reboot.dbg
