Re: The problem of activity during sleep

We voted for YOU, and that, BV8000pro has a number of problems, in particular activity during deep sleep, resulting in an increased battery discharge. At the same time, you do not even post information about smartphones with this problem, moderators filter. So it is difficult to establish what is the reason? Yes, only two of them can be 1. a curve firmware or an android core, 2. faulty components or incompatible with the firmware / drivers. In the end, the smartphone costs about $ 250 and the buyer has the right to understand to return it under warranty or to wait for a solution to the problem through an update!

Hello! I have the same problem on MT6757CD, phone drains battery, 12-15% per night (6-7 hours, ~2% per hour), CPU does not sleep.
Less than 1 minute of deep sleep in 37 hours in last check.

Good day Dear BV.
I`ve got the same problem as described in post of Serg2327 . Phone is consuming about 2-3% of charge in hour. Active mode is on even when the phone is asleep or in "flying mode". Can somebody clarify this issue and help us?

Good day.
That is my 4th time when I`m trying to post in here but it was never happened. Can not understand dear moderator what is wrong with my posts? Can you explain to me, what i`m doing wrong?
My phone is consuming 2-3% of charge in hour, it does not matter if it staid ON or in "flight mode" . As I said before phone was turned back via factory recovery, so everything is in original state, but the consumption still the same.
Can you advice me and to many other users of your product, how to reduce consumption?

Hello! I found some interesting info in kernel_log, hope it will help.
It seems CPU tries to go to deep sleep and turn down main PLL, but this step fails and CPU cuntinue working instead waiting for any wake-up signal.

Thanks for every information you guys provided, we apreciate, and sorry for the post moderation slowdowns that made the cooperation difficult.
Every info will be directed to the tech team as soon as possible. We will continue to test possibile solutions and gather the data you provide. Everything will help the tech team to sort this annoying problem out faster.

Here is a little list of easy tests, based on common problems of battery drain in different smartphone brands, to do separately, one by one, that you can approach in the mean time to help us fix the problem faster:

0) Remove your SD card, if you have one.

1) Disable fingerprint unlock. The fingerprint sensor may drain more battery than expected. If confirmed by you, this may be the culprit.

2) Disable the "Standby intelligent power saving" setting. If confirmed by you, this may be the culprit

3) Disable Duraspeed. If confirmed by you, this may be the culprit

4) Force stop and disable Google/Google Now and Google play services, directly from Settings -> Apps. If confirmed by you, this may be the culprit

5) Disable EVERY battery saving/ battery optimization setting. It could sound strange, but result may be different.

Be sure to:
- equip the latest firmware (at least the 20171011)
- to test ONLY A SETTING EACH TIME, NOT ALL TOGETHER so we can keep the variables lower and find the exact culprit.
- to REBOOT your device after changing each setting.

I can say the following: firmware 20171011, already probyval in order to perform points 0, 1, 3 in turn - no results, 2% per hour

All of you listed are tested in different combinations, moreover, the firmware of the smartphone was posted on your website and the subsequent update by air until 11.10.2017. The test result is always unchanged at 2% per hour at rest without SIM cards and micro SD cards. If you pay attention to the screenshots I've posted, you'll see that the stable devices work with sim cards, and the problem ones do not even sleep "naked". All the information is collected to help you understand this problem, moreover my smartphone is already going to you not reset to the factory settings, with the saved information about its work.

Give us this firmware for the flashlight and we will test it on problematic devices - V0.1_20170803_20171114-1146.

Thanks for your testing. Can you do the 4 and 5 step? Remember to reboot after each step! and do them separately! ;)
