My phone also reboots randomly, and I did not found a cause for almost 3weeks.
There is also other problem with this phone:
Every night the battery goes down by 14-16% (approx. 2% per 1hour), while my old phone lost only 2% per night (Sony Xperia M). I think such a discharge is not normal and I wonder, how can other users to achieve 2-day use without charging. In technical specs there is an information about "Standby" time, which should be 28 days!
I dissabled wifi, bluetooth, mobile data, location, background synchronization, backup.. etc, but nothing has changed. The cell signal is strong in my living and working area, so this is not the cause of the problem. I ran the phone in safe mode, to exclude 3-rd party apps usage, turned on airplane mode - nothing has changed again... so I think, that the source of the problem is somewhere in the operating system, firmware, update...? I have last OTA update 20171011-0929, after instalation I wiped the cache and also made a factory reset... that didn´t helped.
Now I tested the phone without sim and micro SD card, battery discharge is on the same level. I figured, that the phone almost never get in to the deep sleep mode (max. 1-2min per night) to save battery - all monitoring apps showed the same results . Something is keeping the system running all night, average CPU clock freq. is a little under 1000MHz... I used Gsam battery monitor, Wakelock detector, System panel 2... I granted them permissions through ADB shell, to get accurate output informations.
Is there anyone in this forum who has encountered a similar problem? At this time I´m very disappointed with this phone..

The same thing happens to me, it restarts sporadically and waits for the PIN. I'm without a phone without an alarm etc. I have left the factory and without SIM card or microSd and without use and does not restart. I think that this problem goes parallel to the short duration of the battery. How long does it last?

The same by my phone. At night while charging, no reboots.
Today I have had 2 reboots. The phone was on the desk, and reboots without anything working.

The flashing does not fix the problem with the constant reboot.

Problem is that because of my work, I can't have phone in silent mode. I need catch alarm calls. Right now I have my secondary phone with me on night, and calls forwarded to it.

Now I've had total 6 reboots in one week. Twice those reboots have been two in a row, meaning next reboot has been something like within 10 minutes from previous. Every time conditions same: no apps active, phone alone without any use. I am in 4G network. 2 first reboot were mobile data disabled, rest with data on. So very little to report on conditions.

i had same problem. hard reset helps. now phone is 85h on without restart.

My team also has the problem that it restarts once or twice a day, any response to why this happens?
