My BV8000 is not turning the screen off properly during phone calls. It only does it maybe 30% of the time. I normally end up ending the call to find I'm in the system menu with the flashlight on. Is this a normal problem and is there a way to fix it?

Try to update to the latest firmware followed by a factory reset.
If this doesn't fix your issue, your proximity sensor could be defective. In this case, contact your seller for a replacement.
