The free version of camera fv5 limits pictures to 2mp and they look better...

I updated OTA 20170814 and factory reset... and I still have poor camera pictures, I even tryed to take the same picture, from same spot, one with 21mpx and one with 1mpx from stock camera app, they have no big diference, they both look bad, pictures took in low light:

After the last update, (20170814) the camera issue was not solved. More than that, the only camera app that was working, (fv4) does not work anymore. I am very disappointed.

I was just about order BV8000, but with this bug, I don't think so.

I have carried out all recommended "fixes" to rectify the camera focus including:

FIRMWARE UPDATE OTA 20170814
FACTORY RESET
RECOMMENDED 3rd party camera software.

Nothing has improved the focus at the point of image grab...
One interesting observation, as the software attempts to focus it actually achieves a perfect focus for a split second just prior to taking the picture but does not lock in at that point.
So there is still some issues with the firmware that need work.

Please advise when we can expect a genuine solution

Can someone post example pictures, how bad they are? Specially interested is there some problem with pictures of landscape, focus on infinite.
And does Camera FV-5 with setting 'focus to infinite' take proper pictures?

After the last update (20170822) the issue is still there. Very dissappinting!

Manual focus now disabled. I actually think this is related to Samsung 'perfect blur' feature. When shot is taken of image close to camera, a good pic results. However with no object in foreground camera appears to blue everything. Great for closeups, shocking for landscape snaps

Even with the latest update V0.1_20170803_20170822-1836 issues were the same.
I'm very much dought does this camera contains Samsung parts.
Please type your suggestions..

Hi, as for me, after OTA of the 22nd update, main camera finally is able to take some sharp pictures, albeit not every snap is perfect. This is a step forward for me as finally I'm able to use it.
