Paul,
I dont think they will tell us, if you read the response I got from them about the connection to the computer.. they said because I connected a bv7000 pro before, so now it sees the new one with a bv8000 pro connected?? thats like saying if I plug in a iphone 4 and then a iphone 7 it will read iphone 4??? I dont think so.
Anyways they did fix that in one of the two updates. Last night I saw they released 2 updates, one was about 89mb and the second was 118mb or something like that. They have never released a change log, and I dont think they will release it, maybe its too much work for them. at least they are sending out OTA..
The next time I see David I will address this issue. If I had his number I would call him up, when I saw him a month ago he was out of cards, so I didnt get his email. And no one in his office will give it.
Lets just hope they address the issues at hand. I have 30 of these phones and I cannot deploy them to my staff unless I know its going to work in the field.
My past issue with bv7000 pro was the speaker audio. If you use Line app, and you do a video conference, the other party could not hear. even by going into the android config menu I tried to increase the numbers but it seemed that the speaker audio was too close the the mic and would cut it off. this was never perfected, and I did test this before I bought the 30. I was told that they would have the Parallel Space in this bv8000 pro but unless Im blind I cannot find it.
When the admin does not have an answer about the issue they ignore it and go to the next question.
Im as frustrated as you are with them... Im so tempted to fly to Hong Kong and goto their office and drop off the phones and say fix them.
