Have you ever connected a BV7000 with your computer? Sometimes the computer will remember the one which you used in your computer.

Yes I have, and I even tried it on a computer I never plugged it before, and it said it was a bv7000, now the new update you made it changed that. now it says BV8000Pro

Can you please fix the finger sensor?

there is a new update dated 20170718. finger print unlock works for me after the update.

Today I see a suggested update for Version 20170703, saying it would have been released on 2017-07-03 but it wasn't available to me until today. No newer update in sight for me. But as I'm having issues with screen flickering as of today too, I'm currently considering returning this device for a refund. Happily I bought it via amazon and have a refund window of 4 weeks even the seller is in China.
I must say the specs look written on the homepage much better than in real life. And I don't believe that blackview will fix all these mentioned issues at any time. Looking at their bv7000pro/nougat desaster I must say they don't really care about their customers. In the end they're just a little chinese copy-and-paste factory trying to solder some cheap parts and make their money with it. :?

Paul,

I dont think they will tell us, if you read the response I got from them about the connection to the computer.. they said because I connected a bv7000 pro before, so now it sees the new one with a bv8000 pro connected?? thats like saying if I plug in a iphone 4 and then a iphone 7 it will read iphone 4??? I dont think so.

Anyways they did fix that in one of the two updates. Last night I saw they released 2 updates, one was about 89mb and the second was 118mb or something like that. They have never released a change log, and I dont think they will release it, maybe its too much work for them. at least they are sending out OTA..

The next time I see David I will address this issue. If I had his number I would call him up, when I saw him a month ago he was out of cards, so I didnt get his email. And no one in his office will give it.

Lets just hope they address the issues at hand. I have 30 of these phones and I cannot deploy them to my staff unless I know its going to work in the field.

My past issue with bv7000 pro was the speaker audio. If you use Line app, and you do a video conference, the other party could not hear. even by going into the android config menu I tried to increase the numbers but it seemed that the speaker audio was too close the the mic and would cut it off. this was never perfected, and I did test this before I bought the 30. I was told that they would have the Parallel Space in this bv8000 pro but unless Im blind I cannot find it.

When the admin does not have an answer about the issue they ignore it and go to the next question.

Im as frustrated as you are with them... Im so tempted to fly to Hong Kong and goto their office and drop off the phones and say fix them.

Paul,

I will try it and let you know. I dont have much on the bv8000 pro so if it screws up, I can factory reset it. let me give it a whirl.

Paul,

yes it does work after being encrypted. I just tested on my unit and it will use the fingerprint sensor to unlock.

the last update they had last night fixed the sensor issue but I had to redo my fingers. something in the update removed the fingers from the device. so just make sure you have your pin handy or disable it while you update.

currently Im running the V.01_20170718 Build.

Ohhhh I just saw that they now have a Serial Number.... lets see if its random or what

My first 3 are EQI and the last 4 are RSTC

anyone else want to post and compare?

Thank you everyone for replying to me about the issues we all have, at least now I have an encrypted phone with working fingerprint.

I wonder how quick they will be fix Android pay issues, they managed to fix the BV6000 Android pay quite quickly if none the other issues.

As for the bv7000 pro still waiting for those problems fixing then like a fool I bought the bv8000 I must be mentally insane :)

Thanks everyone

Paul,

We are all insane to do it. I have the 5000 7000pro and now the 8000pro I just saw the update rom for the 7000pro to android 7, so lets see how that works out, Im still pissed about the parallel space being removed on a newer and faster phone, this was 1 of my biggest reasons to get the 8000pro as it was faster etc etc etc. but I asked David (CEO Blackview) he said it would be in the phone when its released. that didnt happen.

drats and double drats...

I never used Android Pay, so yikes sucks that you have this issue
