I have just got this phone I set the fingerprint up all worked fine when the phone rebooted fingerprint stopped working and now the fingerprint option has vanished from the security settings can't find it anywhere.

Anybody know what's up?

To follow on from my previous comment

I have found if I do a factory reset it works fine until I encrypt again then it stops working.

So if I don't encrypt all is ok but what's the point in that.

Admin are you going to do a software fix for this ?

Same here. After encription and reboot, fingerprint doesn't work and there is no system settings. Please upgrade soon.

when doing the encription at first time, try the Graphics encryption and then lock the screen--then unlock the screen and input the encription command.

Can you explain your previous post a little more clearly please I have no idea what you mean by graphics encryption.

No, I didn't succeed in encrypting the device and still using fingerprint afterwards. I even tried encryption with a "graphic" gesture before this kind of password was suggested by blackview_admin. Directly after encryption everything works fine, even fingerprint reader and all the settings are available. But after next restart all settings and functions related to fingerprint are gone. Therefore I know it SHOULD work with Android 7 but some kind of stupid bug in blackview firmware kicks fingerprint out of the system.
Currently I'm using BV8000 pro without encryption even if I really would like to encrypt the whole device.
