BV 7000 issues

Mon Mar 26, 2018 10:56 am

I bought BV7000 2 weeks ago in Bulgaria, Europe, local dealer, they say official importer of Blackview products.
My Build number is BV7000_Blackview_20170412, serial number: 0123456789ABCDEF, how can I know this is an original BV7000 or not?
Not bad at all, but following:
1) Display issues - last row not so clear and sharp, especially by white color (Settings menu cant be changed, remains always white), when dark or colors is ok. Display is flickering during game (I have only 1 game - Subway Surfers, 1 app - AnTuTu installed), seems also to lack performance. Same game had no problems on old Lumia, 512 MB RAM ??? When locked, under specific light, you can see horizontal lines of the matrix/touch panel or whatsoever. Is this normal?
2) According to AnTuTu and a dozen of battery apps, the battery is only 1 000 mAh? Could this be real? I calibrated it, but no more than one full day power. No wifi, also switched off data usage, no location, no Bluetooth, only one SIM on 3G network, 30 minutes calls and maybe 30-40 minutes browsing..... Each turning on the display costs 1 % or 2 %. Nights, for 8 hours looses 10 %, all switched off..Is all this normal, according to your technical data for this phone?
3) I read all previous posts in the forum - my question is - can I update my BV7000 to 20171102 and is there a chance this to fix my issues? I contacted the dealer, they said if I do this, I am going to lose my guarantee??? How can I know if exactly my BV7000 fits to this update? I regularly check for wireless updates, but nothing till now. Can I expect OTA update to this, or even newer version?
As I said, not a bad smartphone, but performance, battery life and display issues are much too important, even this is a budget device; they kind a make it not much useful. I also afraid about resistance, I doubt the IP68, never tested it, because I am not sure if I have the phone from the hundreds of videos in YouTube, showing how tough it is. I kindly ask for a reply, or I will have to give it back to the importer, thank you in advance;

1) Your display seems faulty, i suggest to contact your seller to have your device replaced under warranty.

2) Antutu and other apps can't read the real battery capacity. 1000 mAh is definitely wrong :lol:
