brand new bv7000 android 7 wifi dropping out and conflicting with bluetooth

Sun Aug 06, 2017 7:22 am

Hi,

I have had this phone for about 3weeks. At first it was great no problems at all.. it has now developed problems holding on to my WiFi signal. I have done speedtests etc and found that when my Bluetooth is on, the phone is consistently dropping the WiFi signal. If I switch off the Bluetooth and reset the WiFi the WiFi works great. Great speedtest results and it is stable. As soon as I turn on Bluetooth, WiFi goes and I cannot get it to work. I have to say that I love this phone and really want it to work well. However a phone that cannot have Bluetooth and WiFi running at the same time is no use to me. Anyone have this issue and have you sorted it? Otherwise I think I will be sending this back for a refund. Shame too as I really like the phone.

Anyone help me please?
I live in the UK and my network is Three and my broadband WiFi is virgin media.

Thanks.
Robert.

It is normal that wifi is slower if also Bluetooth is activated.

If it is stopping work completly try to update to the latest Firmware and perform a factory reset in recovery after that.

wipe data/factory reset in recovery (this will delete your data/settings):
- Power off and then press Power and Volume-up together for around 10 Seconds
- be sure that the little arrow point on recovery (select with volume up, enter with volume down)
- Then the open android with red triangle+"no command" is shown - press Power and Volume up together again
- Select Wipe data/factory reset with volume keys, confirm with power
- After factory reset select reboot system now

Please report if this solved your issue or not.
