@Outlook.com Email crash

Tue Aug 08, 2017 2:42 pm

Hi, I've just unboxed my new BV7000 and, while I love it, I cannot get my email configured on the native Android email app.
It works fine if I add my @gmail.com account *but* the moment I try and add my @outlook.com account (my main email account), I get the "Unfortunately, email has stopped" message.
I've tried all the usual suspects like checking for updates, clearing the email cache, even deleting my Google account but I'm still stuck with the problem.
Any ideas most appreciated
Craig

A) Use an other email APP from play store

Or B) update to the latest Firmware and perform a factory reset in recovery after that.

wipe data/factory reset in recovery (this will delete your data/settings):
- Power off and then press Power and Volume-up together for around 10 Seconds
- be sure that the little arrow point on recovery (select with volume up, enter with volume down)
- Then the open android with red triangle+"no command" is shown - press Power and Volume up together again
- Select Wipe data/factory reset with volume keys, confirm with power
- After factory reset select reboot system now

Please report if this solved your issue or not.

Dear Admin, thanks for suggestion. Am currently using the outlook android app to get my @outlook email. Will try the factory reset when time allows and will update here as to its success or not.
Kind regards, Craig

Same problem here ... --> viewtopic.php?f=175&t=240684
I don 't want to make a factory reset .... We want that the APP is running well !

You wrote about the outlook-app, Craigw about the native email app. Two different things, right?
