Hi,

Does anyone know if the BV9800Pro achieves it's advertised waterproof rating with the flaps (headphone and charging port) open?

I'm just wondering if it is only waterproof with these flaps fully sealed or if the device is fully waterproof with them open.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello, we don't suggest this idea. It will enter water into the phone.

So i went to the local lake with my girlfriend,  we went swimming and had a lovely time, I DID NOT enter the water with my "Waterproof" phone, I left it on the shore inside my bag, Later we left the lake and I put my "Waterproof" BV9900 Pro in the pocket of my now wet shorts walked home which is about 1 Km, when I got home I checked my phone and and guess what!?!?!?
my "Waterproof" phone is off?
my "Waterproof" phone wont turn !?
my "Waterproof" phones lenses are all fogged up!?!?
The "Waterproof" phone is not "WATERPROOF" in the slightest!

My old phone (Samsung J8) does not have "WATERPROOF"  written on it and had been subjected to the exact same treatment 50+ times.
But somehow this "IP68"  "Waterproof" "Rugged" cant even last 1Km walk in wet shorts.
The phone almost brand new

I believe not!
Otherwise they could have left it open.

The headphone jack should be closed. If it is not closed, water can easily enter.
