BV9000 Swipe up/browse apps & Gallery

Hello everybody. Just bought the bv9000!
Here's two quick question that really puzzled me and would love to kniw the answer to.

1. When on main screen, swipe up does not open the "search app" screen that is available in almost every phone in the world. In fact, swiping up does not do anything at all! How can I enable browsing my apps through the main screen? It feels kinda awkward to add every single app on the homepage in order to access it. Plus, it will really flood the screens.

2. Is there really no built in app to browse your photos and videos? The only option available at the moment is the google photos, which is ok but then again rather odd. No "gallery" available. Do I have to download another app to have easy access on footage that is saved only on my phone?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your answer to my first question.
As for the second question? Is there a gallery to easily access photos/videos that are saved on the device (apart from the google photos that use the cloud)? Do I need to download an external app for that purpose?

You can download the third-party APK

You can try SimpleGallery for that

There is a really ad-free, no special rights neccessary - ok access to files -  Free Version and a pro cheap version with some additional features (only for suppoting the devolpers) for 1 Euro

I'm using this on my new BV5500Plus phones (without any probs at the moment).

It's the same on that phone, no builtin gallery / no app drawer swipe up

Kind regards

Michael
