BV7000 Pro Stop working after fall 30cm

Hello again,

I´ve had a BV7000 pro for a month and it´s a great phone but a couple of days ago it fell and stoped working alltogether.

The fall was from about 30cm off the ground and the unit did not suffer a scrach or a dent but stoped working!!!

I´m quite disapointed since this is supposed to be a "rugged phone" and it broke down with a simple fall.

Should I open the unit? There seems to be something loose inside the unit!?

What could be the problem??

I would apreciate any help and a reply.

Best regards,
Max Amorim

I guess the battery lost it's connection. you can open and fix it with this tutorial: viewtopic.php?f=175&t=151560

Hello again,

I took the phone apart and the only thing that seems "wrong" with the unit is a cut on the black band that connects the batery to the phone.

I´m sending a picture of if.

I´m not sure how the fall could have done that but at this point I´m trying averything!

3 questions: 1 - looking at the picture, do you thing that this cut is enough to damage the batery?

2- How can I test to see if there is inturruption of voltage between the batery and the connector at the end?

3- Is there anything else I should be looking for that can cause the phone not to work?

Thank you for your help!!!
