What ROM/Firmware-Version you have installed in your phone?

It seems the same problem already known since March 29th ... --> viewtopic.php?f=175&t=114213&p=303389#p305089

and still with no solution with the latest Firmware 20170523.

The issue had been solved in a software update. That's why we asked about the firmware PRASANTH is using.

I have the same problem since the beginning and never installed any update so maybe is the way the app is looking to the firmware version

The "Samsung Smart Home" APP is running fine in others 4 Android devices ...I have this problem only with BV7000 Pro running firmware 20170523.

I should have studied the content of this board before buying the BV7000 Pro phone .... too many "if" ... no certainty ..
Sometimes absurd and paradoxical situations ...what to say .... better to be silent.

this is due to the rom having "test-key" instead of "release-key" this happens because the rom has been built by a 3rd party

By the term firmware do you you mean BUILD NUMBER ? If so, build number is BV7000_PRO_Blackview_20170523.

Use the newest Firmware without that issue: 20170523
Also the Android 7 Roms will be without this issue.

Blackview has this issue since last year and the reason pointed out by me in September hasn't been fixed since this time. (viewtopic.php?f=142&t=62784&p=70569#p70569)
The developers don't follow Googles guidelines for development - or any guidelines for good development - and ship the software ment for production still with test label. (https://source.android.com/devices/tech ... uilds.html)

And yes, blackview_admin always tells the issue will be covered in the next release - or in this thread that it is already solved in the last release and you should update but he never looked into where you can find the information:
install the app "Root Browser" and browse to the root folder where you open default.prop and see that also last ROM dated 2015 05 22 - 19:30:16 CST is labled TEST-KEYS, so it is recognised as a software not ment for productive use, so any security relevant software won't run on this device.

Blackview know this but doesn't care because the users affected are users which already BOUGHT the phone so they can't make more money out of them.

And blackview_admin owes me USD 1 for every time from now on where he states this is not the case or is solved with the next software release but then is not solved.
I'm sure to get some money, at least double double digits!

if your phone is rooted, you can use es file explorer to change the test labels yourself in build.prop and default.prop
