Low volume on microphone

Sun Apr 09, 2017 9:39 am

Hello,
I have a brand new BV7000.
When making phone calls people can not hear me, is there a setting I need to alter for the microphone to work?

When I make phone calls people can not hear what I'm saying.

Hi,

I have solve the problem.
I did two things:

Changed in sound & notification>sound enhancement>BesSurround> Music Mode increased the top slide bar to full.

Engineer code *#9646633# > Hardware Testing > Audio > Volume:
Voice changed UL gain to 250 for receiver and speaker and 240 for HAC.
VoIP changed UL gain to 250 for receiver and speaker.

I may alter these figures down closer to the original of 148 in time but the above has solved the problem.

thanks

Hello,

To enter the engineers code go to phone and dial pad and enter the code.
*#9646633#
You are now in engineer mode with the top tab telephony.
swipe across until you get to hardware testing.
select audio
select volume
select voice
you will see the drop down menu for receiver, hac, headset, speaker.
select either receiver or speaker
manually change UL gain to say 240.
scroll down the screen and hit the button Set.
go back using < key.
then select voice again just to check the setting for UL gain has changed
then press home and test by ringing someone or receiving a call.

Please let me now if the above has helped.
thanks
