I have the same issue after purchasing a new ( i thought was new) off Eseller on Alixpress! I noticed the Mic does not work and the charger either. very upsetting as when i arrived it had full charge which was weird. and now wont charge at all and no use of the mic! any help ?? :x

- if your phone don't worked from the beginning don't confirm to receive it working on aliexpress. that will help you to get a new one or your money back after opening a case.

- Try to flash the latest firmware and make a factory reset after that.
- Also try all the advices in the post above.

Thankyou for your reply. I will try these solutions but honestly beleive if the mic AND usb arent working then there is a problem with that board not installed properly or broken? this seller as I said has sent me 2 faulty phones now and is untrustworthy and uncontactable. Is there any way i can install a new board myself? where can i purchase a board? I was really looking forward to using this phone as it looked amazing when advertised!

This is the second phone i have been sent that is faulty. The first one i sent back, he said he sent back to your factory and i waited 7 weeks for him to send another one that has different issues now! If you know this guy Ebuyer from Shengzen then he needs a kick in the nuts. is there any fix i can do myself that would fix these issues? sound, mic and charger all not working? a loose wire or cable inside i can fix?

Return your phone to the seller or replace charging board yourself.

Or disassembly the phone and look inside if the all connectors is connected in right way. Somewhere was a demonstration video.

ok this is for anyone else having this issue with charging and /or no sound coming in from the mic as well.
you'll need a small hex and phillips head screwdriver and tweezers. I bought a whole set from hardware store for $8.
undo the outer screws on side first, then back and gently lift open, use phillips then to remove cable attached to backing(2 scews)
next unclip battery and remove.
NOW...Under the battery is a flat cable that runs from the bottom board where the charger is, to the main board and clips in both ends.
this is where the issue is! any bump or drop causes the cable to slip out of these little flat clips so gently push the cable into the clips and fold the clip lid down , you'll see a line which is as far as you need to insert. then to make sure it wont happen over and over, get some tape and tape that clip down to the cable and housing if needed , carefull not to interfere with any other components.
put back together and should be all good!
Ive had to do this 3 or 4 times after its been dropped but now have taped it well into place so fingers crossed.
and I'm no expert. there is a tutorial on youtube on how to dissasemble so follow that if needed but honestly it doesnt take long like 20min.
definitely a design fault
hope it helps
