took delivery of my new phone, but it has come with no charge- and will not charge.
seller says to open the phone and remove plastic tab.
i think it`s just dead.
help please!

Did you receive the charging cable?
In the middle of the bottom, there is the usb sign, you should open it and plug into the charging cable.

yes, i have done that- how else can you charge it
i have a bv5000 and i do know how they work
you cannot open a bv7000 can you?

you can open it by opening the screws. you could watch if the battery is connected well.
If that don't work ask your seller for exchange.
