Bluetooth connection disconnected

Thu May 11, 2017 6:02 am

Hi, I've just had my 7000 Pro for a week and happy with the phone except for a problem with the Bluetooth. I have paired my car, android smartwatch and Bluetooth ear phones. When the phone has been in standby all Bluetooth connections are lost. You can go into the Bluetooth settings and the Bluetooth scanning fails to find any devices. If I then turn off the Bluetooth and back on again it detects the devices - watch, car etc and reconnects.

I've got android wear excluded from battery power saving so it runs in the background but makes no difference. Rebooted phone and checked for updates on OTA.

Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Thanks

Hi, we have seen in your comment that when turn off the bluetooth and back on again it detects the devices.

So here we want to know if you should do this setting every time to find your device? Because some time the device will have some problem with unknown reason and we turn off and restart, the problem will be solved.

If this problem still happens again and again, can you please tell more about this issue to make us know the exact problem?

I had the same issue. It wasn't the Bluetooth it was the apps shutting down when the the display goes into stand by. It you hold the Home Button down, then click settings the White List comes up. The click any apps you want to run on Bluetooth. I had a problem with Spotify. This method sorted it out. Also turn Battery Optimization of for the same apps.

My Bluetooth issue is with 3 different devices and appears to be random. All 3 devices are working correctly. The device will pair and work for a while but will then loose connection. Turning the phones Bluetooth OFF and the back ON restarts the device scan and the phone will then connect again.

My Bluetooth earphones and android wear watch were both in the white list and excluded from battery optimisation but made no difference to this problem.

Sadly my BV7000 Pro died today. Would not charge or turn on so sending it back to the supplier. Perhaps I got a bad one!
