Hi DeAnd02,

are you trying to upgrade your phone from Android 6 to 7?

If so you need a tool called SP Flash Tool to update your mobile: https://spflashtool.com/

Then you should unpack the new ROM for your mobile in a folder, then you unpack the contents of the SP Flash Tool in the same folder and overwrite any files there.

Please follow the instructions on the SP Flash Tool webpage on howto install drivers for your mobile:
----------------
This is how to install MT65xx drivers for your windows PC. You need to install drivers in order to connect your device properly

Download MediaTek USB VCOM drivers
Driver Auto Installer v1.1236.00
-----------------

The last step is a bit different, as the author of the page refers to only flashing recovery, but you would need all.
-------------------
Download and unzip the package , Open SPFLASHTOOL EXE and Load the Scatter file ( Click Scatter Loading)
Switch off your device
Connect your device and Click DOWNLOAD "button" on top ( not the tab) , If it ask click "yes"
It is done and MTK flashTool will do the rest. If you have problem with flashing tool or drivers install MediaTek USB VCOM drivers from our links.
-----------------

If you want to keep your data, just unselect the entry called userdata.

PLEASE never choose Format all option for doing this, as it will destroy your NVRAM.
