so they way i did it to my friends p2 is i got this tool http://spflashtool.com/, make sure usb debugging is enabled, extract the rar into its own folder
then using the tool locate the scatter file from the rar that you extracted, turn off your phone and plug it into your computer, set the tool to download only and press the big download button

As the majority of phone users have no knowledge of "flashing" etc (myself included) we only wish to be able to open our phone and update it easily or even better, automatically. Blackview will never make the big time if they do not give some semblance of aftersales the way Apple and Samsung do. I actually love my P2 but with no real support in place, I am not sure I would buy another one! There is no point in telling us to download a file and then not giving precise instructions on what to do next. They knew they were going to put out the file so why not prepare the instructions at the same time?

Thanks for the procedure Dongermon....I am not hasty on the admin Im just expressing my thought on the outcome of this conversation to the admin, as englishman said not all users have a knowledge in updating there phone.... Some users may brick their device because no proper procedure was given by the admin.... once problem arise like Cantarruim & others having problem on updating without proper procedure , more consumer will flock on this site to ask for help and why there device brick , and then i dont know how fast the admin can answer all those question... from what i observed it take days and days before they reply it and as a user of that phone of course you will be abset because you need your phone for everyday use..... so what i wish is for the admin to please execute the proper procedure in updating our p2 and i guess i waited a long time for this... thank you.

Hello Dongerman may i ask Is this The procedure you did on your p2.... first i extract the rar files And then open spflah exe then select Scatter Loading and load the scatter file....should all the file be in check position in the Name ? if it is should i just click the download sign.... and after that is it finish ? but before doing this the phone is in usb debugging and shoulb be turn off is that right.. thanks

There is a topic : IMEI INVALID... M8th3w comment that he also lost his imei when he flash his phone.... And he said he just click the download only on the splash tool, what problem did he encounter ? Thank you

Hey admin you still have no reply or answer to our question on how to update our phone with the right procedure.... You just give the link of the file to be downloaded but have no instruction on how to update it...Can you please take immediate action on this matter because its been weeks now since you said you are going to release the flash manual and still as of now there is none ....
