It is more complex on Windows 10 as you have to disable device signing but the instructions are fairly easy to follow - remember to connect the P2 AFTER you have pressed Download - within 2 secs

Hi, please, tell me if I was doing something wrong:

I downloaded the "C300_JK_7.0_201706200934.rar" from Admins post here on the forum. Then I unpacked it and packed it exactly the same as the *.zip file. I reset the phone to factory settings. Coppied the new *.zip file to phone's internal storage and then followed Admins instructions:
"- Local Update: Save ZIP-File to your phone storage and select it at "Settings>About phone>Wireless Update>...-Menu>Local updates"."
Then chose the *.zip file and let it do its thing. Phone restarted and for about 30 minutes it was installing something. Then it restarted into the Android 6.0 and nothing has changed.

I then tried to pack only the files from the original *.rar file with the same result... I am at the loss.

OTA update is not available and I don't want to use the flashing option. Any suggestions how to update Android using Local update option would be appreciated.

Sorry for my bad english.

Thank You so much. That is so great from you.

Edit: Installed it already, works perfect for me. Only wish that national roaming would work. Thanks again.
One little bug is that the MAC address changes on every restart of the phone. I'll try to correct it by changing the NVRAM. Let you know, when I find out.

Hello,

How did you succeed to upgrade ? I have tried by local updates but it do not work. Did you use flashtool ?
