BlackView P2 charge very slow

Wed Jul 26, 2017 7:29 am

1) After lastest update to android 7 20170619 phone started charging with tiny current about 0.1-0.4A from original charger or any 5V good charger. If phone turned off current is 1.5A.
At android 6 current was 1.5A always.

2) Standart address book and dialer stops and close with error if username has digital or any special symbols in first letter of name
Please fix it in new firmware update.

- use the original charger
- update to the latest Firmware and perform a factory reset in recovery after that.

wipe data/factory reset in recovery (this will delete your data/settings):
- Power off and then press Power and Volume up together for around 10 Seconds
- be sure that the little arrow point on recovery (select with volume up, enter with volume down)
- Then the open android with red triangle+"no command" is shown press Power and Volume up together again
- Select Wipe data/factory reset with volume keys, confirm with power
- After factory reset select reboot system now

Please report if this solved your issue or not.

"press Power and Volume up together" after poweroff - not work. I checked it android 7.0 and android 20170307 . So Impossible to enter recovery menu and wipe. Why?

we can boot to recovery menu using BootDroid app in root mode. Volume+ and power not work. I boot to recovery menu and did wipe. but not help
The problem is only on lastest 20170619 Android 7. The phone is charging normally only 1-2 days after the reboot. Then, when the charger is connected, it consumes very little current and does not charge overnight. It is not possible to charge the phone from any USB port laptop or a standard 5V charger or car or powerbank. You need to restart or shutdown before. If the phone is turned off, the charge is normal.

Testing phone during 2 weeks - problem is permanent. Good solution is reboot phone before charging. Before reboot charging current is 0.43A, after reboot 1.47A from original charger.

I have the same problem as above on Nougat 7.0. Charges normally when phone is switched off. Charging ridiculously super slow when phone is switched on with official charger. Clearly a battery charging bug that needs an OTA update to fix this issue. Also the phone is freezing at times which is annoying. two bugs that i have seen so far. Basically this firmware is not up to scratch at the moment. It shouldnt of been released like this.
