How to connect Tab8 to a projector

Hallo,
I recently bought the Blackview Tab8 and now I'm trying to connect it to my projector. I'd like to see streams or videos projected on my wall. I have the LG Beamer PH550G.
I bought a cable USB-C to HDMI, but nothing happens if I connect the tablet with the projector using this cable. I tried it with miracast, but there is no connection too. Is it impossible to use the Tab8 in combination with a projector or do you have any idea what I possibly do wrong.
