BV5100 Pro needs a wedge app

I could not find any forum for this device (BV5100 Pro). Unfortunately the scanner on this phone is of limited use as there seems to be no way of putting scanned data directly into our own apps. On other devices of this type it is done with a "wedge" app which sits in the background an inputs any scanned data into the app running in the foreground. If anyone knows of a way this can be done I would would be very grateful.
It is a shame because this phone is very promising and I would love to be able to use it for work. Maybe Honeywell's solution could be adapted to this device since it uses a Honeywell scan engine.

We are not asking Blackview what it currently does...we are TELLING Blackview to urgently fix firmware so this device (aimed at logistics companies) works as it should...otherwise Blackview has wasted its time and the phone won't sell. We have clients interested in ordering several hundred units, but only if the scanner can feed data to other apps they use.
It is the difference between a tool and a toy.

At present, we can only save the scanned two-dimensional code and bar code to our mobile phone, and cannot operate other ones. I have feedback your suggestion to our engineer.

We are also waiting for this issue to be resolved.
We've tried (nothing worked):
- Listening for broadcast events.
- Integrating the Honeywell SDK.
- Running Honeywell sample Apps.
It seems that the device is blocking the scan data broadcast.

We' re having the same problem. Did you find a solution to make the barcode scanner work?

Hello, what is the problem of the barcode scanner work?

The problem is that a device with a barcode scanner should read the barcode in every field of any application. It should work just as the keyboard works. When I read a barcode it should "write" it just like a keyboard.
[Example - Use case]
1. I'm writing a text message to somebody;
2. I want to send him the barcode of the product I have in front;
3. I scan the barcode (978020137962);
4. The barcode is written directly into the message;
The same should happens for every application I'm using. This would really allow to use your phone for logistics purposes.
Every device with Android and a barcode scanner works like this.
