No incoming calls on 4G

I recently received the Alife P1 Pro. I have noticed that I have a great 4G signal but I can not receive incoming calls unless I switch to the 2G network. Also, when someone does call me, it goes to voicemail BUT my phone switches from 4G to E (sometimes G) and then back again.
I have another phone (Kingzone N5) with the same processor and the same supported 2G/3G/4G networks and I do not have this problem.
Is this a know issue? Is there a workaround? I am about to test the BV5000 and I am going to try a different P1 Pro just in case it is the specific phone.
