Android Wear has stopped working

The new release of android wear no longer works. I get the error

The phone has been flashed with an unsupported configuration for companion. You must re-flash it as either signed/user or unsigned/userdebug

I am using rom version 20160919
When is the next "supported" rom?
This same issue probably affect android pay
