Hi all,

in my understanding you can allocate a contact to a specific SIM when you choose "ask first/every time" and then, when you want to make a call to a specific contact and you have to choose which SIM to use, you are able mark a check box like "remember this decision for this contact". But on my BV 6000 (with newest firmware20161011 and Android 6.0 Kernel 12th October) there appears a check box named something like "use this SIM for all calls" - and that is what the phone does:

Every time I try to mark and remember my SIM-card decision for business/private contact I´m just calling, the phone change the complete setting to "only use this or this SIM card for ALL calls", not only for the specific contact I want it to remember.

Do I operate wrong?

What kind of answer is that? It seems like you don't like to do your job or you are always in a hurry because you are unable to give detailed answers.
I noticed that many times already and to be honest it really pisses me of! I also send you many Emails about requesting a new Mainboard that broke and you never even told me if you send me a spare part or not. If you dont like your job just let somebody alse do it!

Thats just my opinion and Im sure a lot of people in this forum are thinking the same way. And Im to 100% sure that you still won't answer my question.


Now Ill do the "Admins" job and answer the question of the start post.
There is no way to set a specific SIM to each single contact with the stock Dialer-App.
There are many different "contact-apps" in the market, Im sure some of them will allow this feature.
Please let us know if you found an app that supports this feature

I have a similar issue with my BV6000s and I believe I can offer some explanation as to why you cannot designate specific phone numbers to a specific SIM.
The BV6000s does not activate both SIMs at the same time. By that I mean when you select a SIM as your "Preferred SIM for Cellular data" that is the only functioning SIM you have in your phone. The other SIM is still recognized by the phone but it is also disabled. You cannot assign numbers, send or receive calls, SMS messages, or data with that unselected SIM.
I believe this is a failure on the part of Black View to make this phone fully functional as a double SIM phone.

dual sim does not work at the same time because it would be inefficient for the battery and would make the phone a bit slower as it would have to filter both signals.
you could forward your texts and calls from one sim to the other though.

This is a feature missing in Android 6.

I solve it buying the app Dual SIM Selector Pro.
With this app you can chose which SIM to use in several ways.. I selected to use an automatic selection based on the groups.
I've assigned some groups to the 1st SIM, all other numbers to 2nd SIM
It works like a charm.. now my personal calls are all made with my personal SIM, the others with the work one.
