Hello!

Yesterday I found my BV6000s switched off even if it was running before. Then I noticed that it doesn't boot anymore and also when I plug in the charger there is no symbol of charging. When I press power and volume up I get to the menu with the 3 options but as soon as I choose one the display goes black again.

I heard I could try to flash a new rom on it but I'm not experienced with those things. Even I couldn't tell which exact model number the smartphone has as I can not enter the android to find out. The only numbers I see from the outside of the device are BV6000s and two IMEI-codes.

Which rom could I flash safely and where to find it. Can I use a mac os or linux os for that as I don't have Windows?

I need a working phone urgently those days as I'm organizing a lot and need to be available.

Yes, flashing can help in that case. It may work for mac or linux but is much more easier with windows.

You may try out firmware versions for both chipsets, it should just notice you if you tried the wrong one.

Also after deep discharging battery helped to solve issues like yours for some users (tun on display until device turns off) but I sugest to try flashing first. maybe you know someone who is familiar with this or go to a local mobile repair shop.
