FYI - just last week a friend who saw my phone asked me if I would reccomend it to him. I told him to stay away from Blackview as, although their phone is great, their customer service is terrible. He listened. He bought a CAT instead. So many chinese manufacturers fall exactly on this matter.

When charging from the mains, the total charge current does not exceed 1000 mAh and the charge rate 700 mAh + discharge current of 250 - 300 mAh.
Shortcomings:
1. Not correctly-written software to charge controller (not written for a specific model, and taken a ready-made template without changes) in a particular case: not specified design capacity of the installed battery (indicated 1000 mAh is 4200 mAh).
2. The charge controller does not determine the charger is connected to transfer data or just for charging which will not charge more than 500 mAh.
3. The maximum total charge current which is necessary to pass the controller needs to be 2400 mAh to have the actual charge current of 2000 mAh. (the total charging current of 2400 mA and charge current of 2000 mAh + discharge current of 200 - 400 mAh).

Battery calibration or resitting the battery may help.
How to do the battery calibration, first root your phone and then download a battery calibration app from play store and follow the instructions in the app.

it's not useless in the slightest, if your battery is draining quickly or not reporting the percentage properly, a battery calibration is the first step in finding the issue, don't just brush off help because it seems "rudementary"
