New Phone Issues

Sat Jan 14, 2017 6:46 pm

Dear Sir /Madam
I have just purchased a BV6000s. Two problems. Android pay doesn't work - it reports " Android Pay can't be used with this device - This may be because your device is rooted, has an unlocked bootloader or is running a custom ROM. As a result, Google can't confirm that your device meets Android Pay's security standards."
The second problem is with the length of time it takes to charge the device - it is painfully slow.

Thanks,
Goth

Hi,

All our device are shipped out with non-root status. And for safety consideration, we also suggest that users do not root it.
You can try a firmware update to see if problem can be solved.

The Android Pay problem was solved with an update. I think the best update was 20161011 you should be able to find it in the ROM sections of the forum. Simply download the zip file, then go to Ota update and select local.

The battery in the BV6000 is much larger than most phones (4500mAh vs 2000), so it will take longer to charge. I use the USB cable that it came with and an aftermarket charger with "smart ports" with max 2.4A output. The phone charges at about 2A and takes around 3 hours.
